Wellbeing in four policy areas Report by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Wellbeing Economics

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Wellbeing Economics’ new report, Wellbeing in four policy areas, the result of a nine-month inquiry exploring how policy can enhance wellbeing without increasing public spending.

It covers four separate policy areas – labour markets, planning and transport, mindfulness in health and education, and arts and culture – and uses the wellbeing evidence to make substantive policy recommendations in each. It also makes the case for wellbeing to take centre stage as an overarching policy objective, recommending that all parties should set out their approach to wellbeing in their manifestos, and that the government should publish progress against a National Wellbeing Strategy.
